How do manufacturers typically make dust-proof cooling fans?

The characteristics of a cooling fan are different from other products. Cooling fans actively stir the air, accelerating airflow, and thus also drawing in dust. Dust intake occurs in two main ways: into the bearings and into the rotor and stator. Dust intake has some impact on cooling fans. Common solutions generally involve the following two aspects:
1. During design, raise the area of the outer frame where the motor is installed, lowering the motor to reduce the gap between the stator and rotor, thus reducing dust entry.
2. Use double ball bearings. Ball bearings have a certain dust-proof capability, making the bearings less susceptible to serious interference.
In addition to these two aspects of dust protection from the cooling fan itself, adding a dust filter to the fan is also a very effective method. Because cooling fans with dust-proof designs are used less frequently, most manufacturers do not have such molds. Therefore, adding a dust filter without opening a new mold is a preferable approach.
