Selection Guide for Car Seat Ventilation Fans

In a car seat ventilation system, the selection of the fan directly affects the riding comfort and system performance. The following are key selection points to help you choose the most suitable ventilation fan:


1. Size and Installation Method

  • Outer Frame Dimensions Common sizes include 40×40mm, 50×50mm, 60×60mm, 80×80mm, etc., and should be selected according to the internal space design of the seat.

  • Thickness Ultra-thin (10~15mm) is suitable for seats with limited space, while standard (20~25mm) has a larger air volume.

  • Installation Method Screw fixing or snap-in, ensuring compatibility with the seat structure and avoiding vibration noise.

2. Voltage and Power

  • Operating Voltage Commonly used 12V DC in automobiles, some high-end models use 24V DC, and must match the vehicle circuit.

  • Current and Air Volume Air volume (CFM) determines the ventilation effect. Generally, 5~15 CFM is selected. High air volume needs to balance noise (recommended ≤30dB).

  • Energy Efficiency Fans that support PWM speed regulation can intelligently adjust the speed to reduce energy consumption.

3. Fan Type and Airflow Characteristics

  • Temperature Control Speed Regulation Fans with built-in temperature sensors (NTC) can automatically adjust the speed according to the seat temperature.

  • Stepless Speed Regulation Supports 3-speed or stepless speed regulation to meet users' personalized needs.

  • Low Vibration Design Shock-absorbing pads or balancing correction technology to avoid resonance noise.

6. Material and Safety

  • High Temperature Resistant Material The fan housing must withstand temperatures above 80℃ to adapt to the in-vehicle environment.

  • Flammability Rating Complies with UL94 V-0 or equivalent standards to ensure circuit safety.

  • EMC Anti-interference Pass automotive electronic certification (such as AEC-Q200) to avoid interference with on-board equipment.
